How to Fulfill Walmart Orders with Amazon Fulfillment


Purpose/Goal

The purpose of this SOP is to show you how to successfully fulfill Walmart.com orders with Amazon fulfillment. By the end of this SOP you will be able to create a fulfillment order through Seller Central and send the tracking number to Seller Center for Walmart.com.

Overview of Steps


Step 1 - Sign Into Seller Center (Walmart.com)


Step 2 - Sign Into Seller Central (Amazon.com)

  • Log into Seller Central to create the fulfillment order.


Step 3 - Copy and Paste Customer Information

  • Take the customer's information from Walmart and input it into “Create Fulfillment Order”. 

  • Note: You can download the order information if you need to fulfill multiple orders (See loom video above)


Step 4 - Track Walmart PO#

  • Take the order PO#  from Walmart and paste it into seller central.


Step 5 - Completing the Order and Uploading Tracking #

  • Once Amazon has shipped out the order, we will take the tracking # and input to Walmart.com to complete the order.

  1. Sign Into Seller Center Walmart.com (1-5 minutes)

  • Log in Seller Center

  • Scroll down to Orders

  • Click on the Purchase order #

  • Copy the customer information

  1. Sign Into Seller Central Amazon.com (1-5 minutes)

  • Log into Seller Central and click on the 3 lines on the left hand corner

  • Scroll down and hover over “Inventory” than click on “Manage All Inventory”

  • Find the SKU for the order and click “Create fulfillment order”









  1. Copy and Paste Customer Information (1-5 minutes)

  • Paste customers information from Seller Center and click the 2 options: “Only ship with blank boxes” and “Block Amazon Logistics as a carrier for this order”

** Make sure to hit on “copy email address” on Walmart and place it on email address section in seller central to make sure that the customer will get order updates.


  • Copy PO# from Seller Center

  • Paste PO# to Amazon Seller Central and click “Place order”


  • After successful fulfillment, make sure to acknowledge the Walmart order to separate those orders that aren’t fulfilled yet.

  • This will show you the Acknowledged orders










  1. Track Walmart PO# (1-5 minutes) - usually, orders will be shipped within 2-5 days after you create a manual fulfillment order.

  • 1 - Go to Manage Orders and paste the PO# into the “Order ID” Box 

  • 2 - Click on the order 

  • 3 - Scroll down to shipments and copy the “Tracking Number”



















  1. Completing the Order and Uploading Tracking # (1-5 minutes)

  • Go to Seller Center to find the order then go into the order and click “Ship items”

  • Choose “I already have a shipping label”

  • 1 click the carrier, in this case, it's “USPS”

  • 2 paste the Tracking Number from Amazon Seller Central to the “Tracking Number” field and hit “Marked as Shipped”.

 


**In case you need to cancel the order and need to create a new one, add “.1” at the end of the PO order number. 





Quality Control:

  1. Double-check the customer information when copying and pasting from Walmart to Amazon and vice versa.

  2. Make sure you are sending out the CORRECT product and order quantity.
